Happy Village Project

Under Happy Village Project we study the demography, education and population of the area and then launch need based programmes. As per the tradition of the society, first of all we convince the villagers to take oath of happiness. To encourage them we gift saplings of fruit plants to each villager as a token of happiness. It is just to involve them in a chain reaction process to infest themselves, their families and friends with happiness. Our punch line is `don’t get engaged in such works that prove hurdle in bringing happiness’. And, as per requirement we
also organise medical camps, counselling and other purposeful activities.Currently The Happy Society has adopted a village,Shamli in Ghaziabad district, under this project.

Selection of area for Happy Village Project:
On March 17 a team of Happy Society comprised of Mr. Ravindra Tanvar, Mr. Siddhinath Vishwakarma, Mr. Vishwakarma Kumar Singh and Mr. Uttam Sinha was on the move to search some suitable area for the project. The team visited three villages on the same day. These villages were: Shamli in Ghaziabad district Iraira in Gautambuddha Nagar, and Haivatpur in Gautambuddh Nagar. Shamli village falls under Bhojpur block, near Pilkhuwa, about 45 kms from the national capital, on national highway 24. About 275 families having a pupulation of about 4000 dwell in this village.
Itaira (Gautambuddha Nagar) is also on NH-24 and about 15 kms from Delhi. This village is under Bisarakh block housing about 150 families. Here the HS team met the pradhan Ram Singh Yadav. Haivatpur (Gautambuddh Nagar). is also on NH-24 and about 18 kms from Delhi. This village is under Bisarakh block with the dwellings of about 170 families. Here the team met former village pradhan Bhuli Singh and some other villagers. After this visit it was decided that the project should be started from Shamli village. In later corse, such projects will also be launched in other villages of the country
